Architectural Metalwork Head Finisher (5-10 years experience)
Our company fabricates custom high-end architectural, ornamental, and decorative metalwork and are looking to higher a finisher. Our work ranges from structural stairs to gates, railings, and kitchen furnishings.
Primary Responsibilities include:
-Prep for painting (Sandblasting, surface prep, sanding, cleaning, bondo, etc).
-Spray application of primers and paints (spray gun)
-Brush application of paint
-Polishing of non-ferrus metals up to #6 finish with machine polishing tools.
-Experience with Patina is a large plus (Steel and Brass)
-This position is for the head of overseeing the finishing stage for all projects to the proper quality standards. Organizing, cleaning, and inventory of Paint room and materials is part of the job, as well as directing a helper to assist with tasks.
