Garage Door Technician
No prior garage door experience required. We are happy to provide hands-on technical training for qualified candidates.

We can teach you the ins and outs of the garage door installation process, but we cannot teach ambition or accountability. If you’re ready to leave behind a dead-end job or a soul-sucking 9-to-5 retail position, this might be the opportunity for you.
As a Garage Door Technician, you will travel to customer homes in a company vehicle to install or repair garage doors, openers, and related components. Your responsibilities will include diagnosis, building and presenting quotes and then performing approved work. You will also manage your schedule and communicate with clients professionally.
Annual Salary Potential: $50-75k, with top installers earning significantly more.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
High School diploma or equivalent.
COMPETENCIES AND SKILL SET:
Strong communication skills.
Comfortable with face-to-face customer interactions.
Charismatic and personable.
Solid listening skills.
Ability to troubleshoot and think critically on the job.
Organized and methodical work ethic.
Ability to work outdoors and climb ladders.
Repeatedly lift, load and carry garage door panels (40lbs)
Ability to follow instructions and technical manuals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Install or repair garage doors, openers, and associated components.
Ensure that all installations are performed safely and to high-quality standards.
Responsible for managing work truck inventory, tools, and equipment.
Assist in training and mentoring new installers as needed.
Responsible for maintaining a safe work site and ensuring proper handling of equipment.
Review work orders for accuracy and completeness before heading to the job site.
Handle customer service issues and provide support as necessary.
Other duties as assigned.
OTHER:
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Must be willing to submit to a background check.
