Gann Trucking Co. / Gann Parcel Service Inc is a contract service provider for FedEx Ground! Come be a part of this exciting, fast-paced, physical, outdoor team. No experience required! Commercial driving experience is a plus, but we will train the right applicants. Join our team of professional drivers and operate all vehicles from cargo vans to large step vans. Routes available from Richmond, Fredericksburg, and Manassas.
Qualified applicants must have a valid drivers license and must pass a background check! A DOT physical exam and drug test is required. Package Delivery Drivers must have excellent customer contact and driving skills. Package Delivery Drivers are expected to comply with FedEx appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniform.
Full-time employees work eight or more hours per day and workdays can vary (Tuesday - Saturday) (Monday through Saturday) depending on the building needs and during the Holidays.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Continual lifting, lowering and carrying packages that typically weigh 25 - 35 lbs. and may weigh up to 150 lbs.
Climb into and out of van or truck repeatedly and frequently throughout the day, up to 200 or more times a day.
Use arms, legs, feet, hands and fingers to operate vehicle and light equipment.
Frequently move the whole body to perform tasks such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, and handling of materials.
Stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl in awkward positions.
See well (naturally or with correction).
Sit while driving vehicle from stop to stop.
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
