HII Mission Technologies, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries is seeking a Engineer 3 candidate eager to join and support our Fleet Sustainment Maintenance Planning team. This position will be supported from our Hampton, VA office location and will be part of a diverse team in. A hybrid work schedule will typically be offered which will allow working from both our Hampton office and teleworking from home as approved by the Maintenance Planning Department Manager. #LI-MJ

What You Will Do

  • Performs engineering functions in one or more of the following specialties: electronics, electrical, mechanical, civil, naval, and/or chemical.

What You Must Have

  • 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field.
  • Must have experience in casting processes.
  • Must have experience with engineer processes
  • Experience in Project Management

Bonus Points For Having!

  • College degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification

Physical Requirements

Office, industrial or shipboard environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances. Lifting and moving of materials not to exceed the guidelines set for one man lift.
