JOB DESCRIPTION
This position will work directly with the Yard Supervisor and Service Manager to ensure that all inventory is fueled, cleaned, and prepped to specs prior to delivery. The prepper will assist the Yard Supervisor with final inspections prior to giving approval to upper management that rental cars are ready to depart the facility.
Essential Functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. The Prepper will be responsible for:
1. Ensuring that all rental cars are fueled, cleaned, and prepped to specs prior to delivery.
2. Ensuring that all rental cars have had oil and no damages or maintenance issues have been reported prior to delivery.
3. Placing any damaged or unrentable cars in the service line and properly tagging them with the issue.
4. Checking all golf carts for loose tops, windshields or other unsecured accessories.
5. Maintaining the cleanliness of the truck fleet as needed.
6. Completing small scale repairs such as replacing tires and batteries and possibly basic PM / oil changes upon training that is provided by National Carts.
7. Maintaining a clean work space
8. Driving and parking golf cars in a designated parking plan
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the coreĀ work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (adjusted seasonally as needed). Occasional evening and weekend work and overnight travel may be required as job duties demand to help with rental events.
Preferred Education and Experience
1. High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
2. Valid Drivers license, good driving record (MVR) and reliable transportation.
