Wood-based manufacturer in Waynesboro seeking TWO operators: one day shift, one night shift. Machine operator will lead a team of 7-10 people in the primary machine center as well as be able to relocate team to other supporting machines as needed.
Required Operator Skills:
Problem solving ability (learn to diagnose source of issues affecting machine operation and production quality and intervene in real time)
Set machine up properly and maintain consistent production throughout shift
Interact with human-machine-interface to assess productivity in real time
Conduct light maintenance and inspections of critical machine systems
Work closely with other plant personnel to maintain a safe and productive workplace
