Job Summary: Signature Consultants is seeking a Backend Developer/Full Stack Engineer for an opportunity with a client located in Henrico, VA. Looking for a Strong Backend Java developers (6+ yr experience) who can understand requirements and follow design guidelines to develop product features with minimal guidance. DevOps experience needed. Full Stack Engineers needed for Content Engagement Solutions to create high-impact applications that are both internally and externally facing. You'll bring solid experience in emerging and traditional technologies such as: Node.js, Angular, Vue, REST, Java, Python, JSON, XML, HTML / HTML5, CSS, NoSQL databases, relational databases, Terraform, and AWS/Cloud Infrastructure, to name a few.

Responsibilities:

Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios
Continuously improve software engineering practices
Work within and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across a full-stack of development tools and technologies
Lead the craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of your solutions
Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in internal & external technology communities, and mentor other members of the engineering community
Encourage innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organization, and diversity

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or military experience
At least 5 years of experience in software development
At least 2 years of experience with Angular, React, Vue, or Backbone web frameworks
At least 2 years of experience with NodeJS
At least 2 years of experience with RESTful API development
At least 2 years of experience with NoSQL or PostgreSQL

Master's Degree:

1+ year of experience with CI/CD tools, preferably Jenkins
1+ year of experience with container based environments, preferably Docker
1+ year of experience working on services provided by a major cloud provider, preferably AWS
