TETRA is an Enterprise IT Program that supports and protects the IC mission. Be a part of something greater than yourself and make a lasting impact at CACI.What You'll Get to Do: CACI's Business and Information Technology Solutions (BITS) Sector is seeking a Systems Engineer who will serve as a technical project resource and assist lead and implement the migrations of customer applications and systems to the AWS Cloud. This position will require hands-on technical support for the migrations, in addition to, early stage planning and design efforts.Your responsibilities will include the following:- Designing and developing solutions to complex applications problems
- Analyzing user requirements, procedures and problems to automate or enhance existing systems, and reviewing computer systems capabilities and workflows
- Incorporating engineering strategies for introducing new technology into the Sponsor's infrastructure
- Developing future technology and architectural advancements to support architectural strategy, technology migration and integration, and evolution
- Applying knowledge of enterprise IT needs to design improved processes and generate valid requirements
- Acting as an advisor and proposing changes based on analysis of requirements and new technology
- Working with appropriate parties to resolve discrepancies between proposed IT systems and enterprise quality standards
- Identifying and determining process and procedural solutions to customer problems
- Participating as a member of a team to assess and recommend a migration strategy to new technologies
- Communicating project information through presentations, technical reports, or white papers
- Working with other engineers, programmers, technicians, and managers in the design, testing, and evaluation of systems
- Understanding specific systems requirements
- Providing frequent contact with the customer, traceability within program documents, and the overall computing environment and architecture
- Providing technical guidance or support for the development or troubleshooting of cloud systems, or to resolve cloud related issues
- Evaluating existing systems to determine effectiveness and suggest changes to meet customer requirements and ensure successful migration to the cloud
- Coordinating with programmers to ensure proper implementation according to systems specifications
- Attending conferences or training and studying technical journals to keep up with changes in technology
- Evaluating current or emerging technologies to consider factors such as cost, compatibility, or usability in the cloud ecosystem
- Other duties, as assigned
- Deep technical understanding of AWS and the ability to produce technical solutions, answer and troubleshoot AWS issues, and produce cloud architectures based on the customer's requirements
- Strong knowledge of the Sponsor's technical landscape
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to work on a dynamic team wand manage multiple projects and deadlines
- 6 Years of job related experience and High School/GED diploma
- 4 Years of job related experience and Associate degree
- 2-3 Years of job related experience and Bachelor's degree
- 1 Year of job related experience and Master's degree
- Ability to understand the business requirements and convert them into solution designs
- Ability to strategize and develop complex responses to government solicitations and assist with and work on proposalss
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate
- AWS Certified Developer - Associate
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate
- Business needs support flexibility for the individual in this position to come in early or stay late, as needed to accomplish or complete tasks. Customer prefers the individual works the regular work week schedule, as requirements are received every day of the work week.
