Role Summary: The Data Portfolio and Process Lead is part of the Audi Data and Analytics team within Audi Digital Business. They also support the Audi Enterprise Portfolio team, which is also in the Audi Digital Business organization. This role is the lynchpin that connects and aligns the business, the data and analytics team, the portfolio and dedicated IT resources to across the US and Canada. They will watch the process, communicate clearly across the constituencies and keep things moving smoothly.

Role Responsibilities:

Data and Analytics Portfolio Process - 50%
  • Own the portfolio and delivery processes; ensure the Data and Analytics (D&A) team and the rest of the business are aligned on process understanding and expectations.
    • Establish the 'rules of engagement' within D&A, between D&A and IT, and between D&A and the business.
    • Lead process design, documentation, and communication.
    • Support Quality Management System documentation, training and adherence for Digital Ops.
  • Track team progress, report out results, and diagnose failure points. Leverage this information to drive process improvement.
  • Key interface with business for ingesting project requests into the portfolio.
  • Key interface with Enterprise Portfolio for alignment of project requests, categorization and prioritization.
  • Assist manager with D&A business case calculation and tracking.
  • Coordinate and lead team involvement in Digital Planning Session (quarterly planning workshops) activities.

Enterprise Portfolio -25%
  • Establish and maintain ongoing tracking/reporting of portfolio submissions, throughput, and velocity.
  • Run regular Steering Committee meetings to ensure alignment with Audi Digital and Audi Strategy
  • Proactively suggest and implement portfolio process and governance improvements to generate efficiencies with Audi and across VW Group brands/IT&S.
  • Actively track the implementation of prioritized use cases and measure delivery performance as well as business value
  • Regularly maintain backlog grooming and maintenance of the Enterprise Portfolio submissions
  • Communicate and update business stakeholders on portfolio submission status changes
  • Establish and update Portfolio Management process through automation and use of digital collaboration tools
  • Assist in the overall coordination and facilitation of team Digital Planning Session (quarterly planning workshops)
  • Assist in the coordination and facilitation of VW Group NAR & IT&S digital steering committee

Digital Analytics Agency Management -15%
  • Budget, hours and project tracking across the US and Canada for Digital Agency of Record work.
  • Lead in creation or SOR, SOW, and PO as needed to support digital work from agency. Coordinate with Sr. Digital Insights Analyst to align on business needs and specifications.

Data Science Community management - 10%
  • Maintain roster of Data Science Community (DSC) members across US and Canada.
  • Key liaison from D&A team to DSC members for engagement, resource support, use case validation, and tracking.
  • Coordinate and hold regular meetings to support DSC engagement such as Tableau Office Hours (weekly), ad hoc training, DSC showcase/spotlight events (quarterly), or the like.
  • Maintain the D&A and DSC Confluence spaces to make sure that resources, for ms, documentation are up to date and available for business users.

Experience:
  • 5-7 years of related experience

Education:
  • B.S. in Business, Communications, Technology, Business Analytics or similar (Required)

General Skills:
  • Ability to identify business/technology needs and offer guidance to implement Audi Data Strategy and enhance data capabilities as well as lead and motivate involved parties.
  • Ability to manage technology/data specialized portfolio and establish alignment on priorities across departments in order to support the Digital roadmap and company objectives for Audi of America and Audi Canada
  • Excellent communication skills (written & oral) and ability to explain technical concepts to people with limited technical background
  • Ability to present in front of larger groups and senior stakeholders; possess extensive moderator skills to guide and navigate regular sessions with executive steering committees and data science community members
  • Experienced with strategy planning, roadmap development and operational delivery
  • Passion for collaboration, innovation and change
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work products at the same time
  • Time management and ability to prioritize.

Specialized Skills: Required:
  • Experience designing, documenting and improving processes
  • Ability to ensure needs of the Data Science Community are prioritized in alignment with the overarching data strategy and overall company strategy
  • Ability to persuade and align needs across stakeholders at various levels
  • Ability to direct discussion with large groups and at times very technical topics (in person & remote)
  • Ability to understand and translate business needs into viable solutions and actionable plan
  • Proficient with MS Suite tools
  • Business case evaluation and tracking
Desired:
  • Expertise with digital collaboration tool Confluence and Agile delivery tool JIRA
  • Expertise with portfolio management best practices, specifically around demand gathering and prioritization
  • Knowledge of Agile portfolio and delivery methodology (SAFe)
  • Experience with Tableau

Work Flexibility:

  • Hybrid role classification, with required office days for meetings and office hours.
  • Travel: up to 15% travel within US and Canada
