Title: Front-end Developer ( Mid/Senior level)

Location: 100% REMOTE - must be ok working in Eastern Time

Status: USC or GC holder per federal client requirements - clearable for public trust clearance

Base Salary: open - based on extent of position relevant experience - minimum of 4 years of experience

The front-end developer is a talented developer and a team player with software engineering experience, preferably with experience serving government agencies. The candidate must have hands-on experience with enterprise level software development, integration and implementation of modern responsive user interfaces. The ideal candidate will have a good foundation of graphic user interface development using industry standard development software (Java, Angular, etc.), and knowledge of Web Content Accessibility/USDS, and UX principles. The main focus of the responsibilities for this position are tool and graphics development in Microsoft Power BI, Power Apps, Power Integrate, and SharePoint. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Design, code, and implement tools, graphics, utilities, and web pages, generally on a MS SharePoint platform, using software engineering best practices • Provide software expertise in MS Power Apps/Power BI/Power Automate often in conjunction with SharePoint; • Perform development, maintenance, and administrative tasks supporting SharePoint. • Provide guidance and expertise towards improved User experience (UX) • All other duties as assigned or directed TECHNICAL SKILLS: • Expert level developer in at least two of MS Power BI/Power Apps/Power Automate; Knowledge of the third • Proficient in front-end development in building responsive UIs incorporating UX principles • Able to facilitate and direct full cycle product development (SDLC/AGILE) as part of a development team • Hands-on knowledge of the SharePoint Platform with regards to development, maintenance, and administration QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field • 4+ years of experience with full lifecycle development • 4+ years of experience in front-end development using one or more of the following languages: Java, Javascript, JQuery, Typescript, Angular, React, HTML, &/or CSS. • 3+ years of experience with any of the Microsoft Power Platform applications (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate); Required expert user in at least two of these tools. • 2+ years of experience of development with business intelligence &/or data visualization software/tools such as MS Power Suite/Power BI, Tableau, Microstrategy, Oracle BI, Google (Looker/Charts), etc. • Formal training may substitute for a portion of the experience requirement • U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the United States without sponsorship
