Maxar Technologies is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer to work in an agile and fast paced development environment supporting analysts whose mission is to solve unique and challenging intelligence problems for special operations. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team and have the unique opportunity to interact directly with analysts and other technologists to ensure applications and tools meet the needs of the customer. The ideal candidate is creative and driven, passionate about technology, and able to learn quickly. You will work with a team of forward-thinking software engineers to build novel solutions for challenging problems for both US Government and industry customers centered on the development of a suite of high fidelity, physics-based software that simulates and manages air and space Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) systems to include their subsystems and payloads and ground components. The focus of this position will be to contribute to the development of the data management, user workflow, security authentication, and service call architecture code that comprises a family of applications built on this software suite. What you'll do day-to-day (with your colleagues):- Develop a web application for search and discovery
- Develop and implement analytical models
- Maintain and enhance existing custom applications
- Support migration activities into a private cloud environment
- Modernize workflows and interfaces, customizing to include new mission areas and topics
- Provide exceptional customer support for our clients
- Must be a US citizen with a current/active TS/SCI and willing to obtain a CI polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or closely related field
- Minimum of 2 years of full stack development experience
- Experience developing software using Java
- Experience with software engineering tools (i.e., Git/Subversion, IDE)
- Familiarity with the Agile development process and tools
- Ability to work in a geographically dispersed, collaborative team environment
- 5 years of full stack development experience
- Experience with Atlassian tool suite
- Experience with Vue.js, ReactJS with Redux or another modern JavaScript-based front-end framework
- Experience developing software using Python, C, C, and/or Scala
- SQL/database/ORM experience
- Experience with ISR planning, scheduling, or modeling and simulation software
- Understanding of the Intelligence Community (IC) ISR and/or TCPED cycle
