- Responsible for the execution and support of major research and market intelligence projects
- Manage research projects and analysis in product research, customer demographic/psychographic research, price, and aligning feedback to Brand initiatives.
- Conduct competitive market performance analysis and track performance vs. competition including the production of monthly reporting and the management of all available market benchmark studies such as J.D. Power, Maritz, IHS, Autodata, Strategic Vision, Harris, etc.
- Identify and communicate opportunities to effectively address VWGoA brands competitive strengths / weaknesses.
- Manage and alignment of VWGoA Product segmentation, customer segmentation, and total market volumes
- Trend research
- Support Group research efficiency and value across research projects and market information
- Development and management of the Group Research knowledge management system, including detailed knowledge of auto industry, VWGoA brand objectives, market research database and vendor capabilities.
- Support the management of group research standards, vendor management, project alignment and efficiency, identifying and cataloging best practices, quality and consistency management across projects, project and vendor evaluations and communication strategies.
- Manage research and market intelligence vendor relationships including quality control of work and alignment to objectives and budget, rating vendor strengths and weaknesses, rating overall and project performance, finding new vendors with innovate, value-added solutions.
- Manage Group Research administration including purchasing, billing, invoice management, and budgets.
- 3-5 years of automotive analysis or market research
- 1-3 years of automotive or related industry
- Bachelor's degree - required
- Organizational and process orientation and skills
