- Support Product Manager of the assigned model(s) - cradle to grave. All lifecycle planning actions - from advanced planning (full model changes) to launch of each model year.
- Ensure implementation of "buildable" product configurations during the planning phase of each new vehicle. Ensure the final consistency & correctness of the product specifications prior to the launch phase of the vehicle.
- Support Product Manager in the development, implementation & coordination of strategic launch plans, ensuring the effective launch of new vehicle platforms, vehicle facelifts, model year change-over & lifecycle action models for a select portfolio of vehicles within the Volkswagen line-up for the U.S.
- Provide insight and develop cohesive briefs to support VW brand's e-Mobility Strategy for U.S. market, including models, market requirements, feasibility, etc.
- Co-develop, implement & coordinate strategic launch/lifecycle measures, to support sales objectives for assigned models.
- Supports model year launch and introduction on annual basis
- Coordinates with all Wolfsburg departments to ensure that vehicle program is aligned and represented correctly gaining approval as needed in Wolfsburg organization.

- Support Product Manager in developing U.S. customer requirements and driving into product specifications & development, including:
- Segment and model equipment/features
- Model assumptions
- Pricing
- Positioning
- Color & trim commission
- Lifecycle strategies
- Support Product Manager with assigned models throughout all milestones in development process to ensure all U.S. input is delivered to project teams
- Drive U.S. product requirements through VW AG & NAR Region to ensure competitive offer
- Communicate internal positioning & strategy, content, pricing, & feature benefits of defined vehicles
- Manage offer structure & confirm initial set-up of MBV or the internal product information & communication services for defined vehicles
- Ensure consumer and industry research results are incorporated into model planning & strategies.
- Validates marketing materials including brochure, digital, copy, etc. for product accuracy.
- Supports creation, implementation, and communication of model year change points, including sales configurations, throughout lifecycle of the vehicle.
- Responsible for validation of Monroney labels, conducts port checks as part of annual model year process.

- 5 to 8 years of experience
- Required - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business
- Desired - MBA
- Analytical and conceptual thinking - using logic and reason, creative and strategic
- Ability to work in a cross-culture environment
- Proficient use of marketing research sources, data analysis, and publishing product information

- 5-8 years automotive industry experience in Product Engineering/Product Planning/ Marketing, Business Development and Management
- U.S. Automotive market experience
