Job Summary/Company:

A Sparks Group Partner is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Imagery Services team. This Direct Hire position is 100% remote in the following states: MD, DC, VA, WV, FL, MA, NC, OH, TN, or TX. Responsibilities:

Evolve customer facing and internal data services to task the satellite constellation with a focus on usability, consistency, and stability
Work closely with engineers and managers to implement scalable performant solutions for rapid image delivery

Qualifications/Background Profile:

5 years of experience developing production software
Proficiency designing, implementing, and using REST APIs
Familiarity with common database technologies (SQL and NoSQL)
Experience working in a cloud environment (e.g., AWS, GCE. or Azure)
Experience working with data ingestion, storage, caching and analysis tools such as Elasticsearch, Redis, MongoDB, PostgresDB, etc.
Work Status: due to government requirement, only US Citizens will be considered for this role
