A Sparks Group Partner is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Imagery Services team. This Direct Hire position is 100% remote in the following states: MD, DC, VA, WV, FL, MA, NC, OH, TN, or TX. Responsibilities:

Grow customer facing and internal data services for satellite constellation tasking
Work closely with engineers and managers to implement scalable performant solutions for rapid image delivery
Help team members catch issues before it goes to production and provide insightful feedback during design sessions

Qualifications/Background Profile:

5 years of experience developing production software
Proficiency designing, implementing, and using REST APIs
Fluency in Java, comfortable diving into other languages as needed
Familiarity with common database technologies (SQL and NoSQL)
Experience working in a cloud environment (e.g., AWS, GCE. or Azure)
Work Status: due to government requirement, only US Citizens will be considered for this role
