RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Herndon, VA that is seeking a Systems Administrator that will be the face of IT and provide Tier 2 end-user support, both locally and remotely across the globe.
Responsibilities: In this role, the Systems Administrator will provide occasional Tier 1 support to end-users on an as-needed-basis Responsible for all aspects of user onboarding/offboarding Purchase hardware, manage inventory, provision, and deploy end user devices Managing and maintaining laptops, desktops, and printers for users on Windows and Mac The Systems Administrator will assist with Video Conferencing setup and troubleshooting Lead and execute IT-specific projects; Collaborate with global teams for troubleshooting and new projects Work directly with out-sourced Tier 1 Managed Service Provider to enable them to take on additional responsibilities; Includes writing knowledge-based articles, answering questions, and making sure they are proficient at handling end-user requests Documenting procedures, standards, best practices configurations Perform operations and support activities with minimal supervision As a Systems Administrator, you will work with hardware and software diagnostic toolsREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Telecommunications or equivalent, or additional experience in lieu of degree 3+ years of experience as IT System Analyst, IT Support Technician or Desktop Support Engineer Hands-on experience supporting computer-based systems and peripherals (Windows and Mac) Office 365 administration experience (Teams, Exchange, Azure) Mobile Device, hard-phones, and video conference system administration experience IT ticketing systems experienceThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
