Description Seeking a Senior Software Developer to work closely with Government Program Managers and a small team of four software developers to accelerate system and application development. The position is currently located in Herndon, VA. Job responsibilities include:
  • Work closely with Customer PMs and software development team to develop new and enhance current systems and applications
  • Proactively seek opportunities to use process improvement and re-engineering methodologies to facilitate improvements to team processes
  • Lead the architecture of re-writing and deploying an old application
  • Produce efficient and elegant code based on requirements
  • Compile and assess user feedback to improve software performance
You will work side-by-side with the other team members comprised of world class Software Developers, Machine Learning Engineers, System Admins, Cloud Engineers, and Multimedia Specialists to lead the customer in developing new technical solutions. Qualifications Required Qualifications:
  • TS/SCI security clearance with a FSP polygraph.
  • Bachelor's STEM degree from an accredited institution, or 4 additional years of work experience
  • Proficient in Python
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in DevOps
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in AWS/Cloud Sys Architecture
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and verbal / written communication skills
  • Knowledgeable of Agile practices and JIRA
  • Capability to adapt to fluid situations and prioritize tasking in a dynamic environment

Desired Qualifications
  • Experience leading a team of software developers
  • 10 years of technical expertise, preferably in the Intelligence Community
  • Experience in Django, Java Script, and Terraform
  • Security and vulnerability mitigation expertise
