Join us and start doing your life's best work.(sm) As a valuable member of our deployment and integration team, you will wear multiple hats: technical lead, architect, programmer and deployment engineer. Your responsibilities include every facet of building and delivering DocASAP products and solution to large healthcare provider and payor systems by building integrations with industry leading EHRs and EPMs. You will be responsible of innovating bug-free features and integration capabilities and have an eye towards simplicity, usability, scalability and efficiency. Your algorithmic, curious mind strives to understand both the whys and the how. You love the unpredictability and energy of fast-paced environments and are not afraid to jump into new technologies and team members enjoy collaborating with you. You'll enjoy the flexibility to either work in office in Herndon, VA or telecommute as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Act as the technical lead on deployments and works closely with our various workstreams to successfully integrate with health providers' EHR/EMR system to seamlessly onboard them onto DocASAP platform
  • Provide support for client issues: Troubleshoot/resolve customer problems of complex nature such as code defects, product configurations (files or data), networking, platform, third party communications, hardware configuration or other issues commonly encountered in systems' operation within a networked environment
  • Automate and perform regular monitoring and testing of DocASAP system integration software and infrastructure for clients
  • Build new product and integration enhancements and features based on client requests and help define the roadmap
  • Optimize deployment methodology and bring best practices to shorten the technical delivery timeline. Additionally, document EMR specific best practices in the form of playbooks
  • Assist with new team members knowledge transfer and training

  • BS or MS in CS or MIS/technology disciplines from a top tier engineering school
  • 5+ years of experience in IT and software engineering building, and delivering products and solutions
  • 4+ years of experience deploying software solutions to large systems
  • 4+ years of Healthcare IT experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to write technical and functional specs
  • Deep understanding of databases like MySQL, MS SQL, DB optimizations and performance tuning
  • Experience with J2EE, and/or PHP or other programming languages
  • Experience with UNIX commands and shell scripting
  • Understanding of Web technologies such as HTML and CSS
  • Experience with integration and ETL technologies
  • Experience with API development, HL7, FHIR and EDI integrations in Healthcare
  • Experience working with AWS, Linux, Apache, Tomcat and/or Active MW
  • Project Management certification
  • Experience working with cloud based solutions and services
Soft Skills:
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with C-Level executives
