Linux Database AdministratorThe Challenge:

We're looking for a database administrator with a solid Linux background and working knowledge of Python and other scripting languages us ed in Linux environments. Additional desired experience includes working with GNU Radio applications, soldering, us e of general hand tools, and some RF experience.

As a database administrator on our project, you'll assist with the development and c us tomization of workstations implementing C us tomizable off the Shelf ( COTS ) hardware and drivers in a c us tom way. You'll assist in developing sof tware that enables c us tom/unique configurations and connectivity. We foc us on growing as a team, so we'll share te chn iques, work through challenges, and develop new methodologies together.

You Have:

2 years of experience in the areas of Linux systems or database administration, computer engineering, or sof tware development
Experience with Linux
Experience with the Python programming language
Experience with Linux file system management, installation and testing of Linux sof tware and drivers, and running Cybersecurity tests us ing Ness us
Ability to create internal test plans, test reports, and assembly documents with some drawings/block diagrams
Ability to support minimal travel for test events
Secret clearance
BS degree in an engineering, scientific, or te chn ical field

Nice If You Have:

Experience with GNU Radio and sof tware defined radio
Experience with us e of general hand tools, drill press, and basic power tools
Experience with Soldering
Knowledge of RF concepts
Ability to adapt to changing needs of a dynamic mission and willingness to learn new skills required by tasking
Ability to pay strict attention to detail
Possession of excellent verbal and written communications skills
TS/SCI clearance

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and m us t meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
