Zachary Piper Solutions is actively seeking a Transportation Program Manager that will support a Government Contractor based in Springfield Virginia.
Responsibilities of the Transportation Program Manager:• Serve as a representative to enhance operational and business processes and develop, coordinate, and implement plans and strategies to retain existing business and identify new opportunities• Oversee identification and development of on-going relationships with key customers in Public Transportation industry (VRE, WMATA, DGS, DDOT, VDOT, MDOT, MTA, SEPTA, etc.) • Provide proposal development support in identification of resources and development of creative price to win strategies to improve competitive posture and capture new business opportunities• Work closely with Management Team to set and/or implement policies, procedures and systems and to follow through with implementation• Contribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality and customer-service standards; complete audits; identify trends• Serve as primary point of contact for customer issues and satisfaction of services being provided. Communicate customer issues with operations team and devise ways of improving the customer experience, including resolving problems and complaintsQualifications of the Transportation Program Manager:• Bachelor`s degree in Business Management, Administration, Engineering, or related field• 10 years of program management and development related experience• Strong Program/Project Management skills and ingenuity in identifying core business strengths and developing successful strategies for business growth• Detailed familiarity of Public Transportation Industry practices and standards, procurement, contracts, regulations, and procedures• Ability to assess business opportunities, set effective priorities, ensure timely progress on key milestones, adapt approach to changing needs, and monitor progress to deliver on commitmentsCompensation for the Transportation Program Manager: • Salary Range: $85,000 - $95,000 + bonuses• Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k) with matchKeywords: Transportation Program Manager, transportation program manager, program manager, Program Manager, Top Secret, top secret, TS, Government Contractor, government contractor, Springfield Virginia, Kingstown VirginiaVacancy expired!
