Job Title: System AdministrationJob Location: Lorton, VAJob Description: This position is for a System Administration on the Client program. Client is an IT applications and infrastructure services program supporting several customers within the Department of Justice (DOJ).This customer unit is responsible for providing field communications support to their field agents, officers and investigators worldwide. This position will provide system administration services to manage and maintain the equipment, networks and web applications that support the field communications systems deployed by our customer. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 9am - 5pm.The candidate will be skilled in Windows Server 2012 R2 and later, CentOS 7 and later, BigFix patch management, Active Directory, Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS), Internet Information Services (IIS), OpenSSL, VMWare vSphere, VMWare vCenter Server, Windows 10, secure network architectures, hardware procurement/maintenance, system/network management tools, and backup solutions. Required Qualifications: - Experience providing O&M support to complex, mission-critical systems- Experience working independently and collaboratively to troubleshoot and correct operational issues- Experience working closely with customers and users to troubleshoot and resolve complex user issues- Ability to work and brief customers to include senior management- Extensive experience configuring, implementing and troubleshooting with following technologies:o Dell PowerEdge R940 servers & iDRACo VMWare vSphere & VMWare vCenter Servero Windows Server 2012 R2 & latero CentOS 7 & latero BigFix Patch Managemento Active Directory (AD), AD Certificate Serviceso Internet Information Services (IIS)- Establish goals and meeting project plan objectives- Excellent communication skills- Customer interface experience- Excellent teamwork skillsEducation and Experience: Typically requires BS degree and 8 - 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 - 10 years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of experience and/or relevant certifications will be considered in lieu of degree.Required Clearance: Candidate selected will be subject to a Government Public Trust security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to the customer's information.
