Sr. Principal Design/Development Engineer
Our client located in Altavista, VA is a global leader in their respective industry and are currently looking to add a Principal Design/ Development Engineer to their team!
Client will provide full relocation assistance if needed.
What you will be doing:
Oversight on new products as assigned to AQP (Advanced Quality Planning) goals and disciplines (ie, Design FMEA's, QFD, etc.).
Develop new product designs/drafting, as required, consistent with growth objectives.
Assist in establishing Standard Operating Procedures.
Assist marketing and quality control, as required, with customer contact.
Prepare and submit customer ECN's, etc. for products as assigned.
Conduct and coordinate product reliability testing to assure all industry standards are exceeded.
Assist in establishing material specifications and requirements.
What you will need:
Engineering Degree with at least 3 years of high volume design/manufacturing experience in the automotive or aerospace & defense industry.
Experience with valve regulators and fuel system valves is a plus.
