Position Qualifications:
A minimum of a bachelor's degree in human services or related field (social work, psychology, psychiatric rehabilitation, sociology, counseling, vocational rehabilitation, human services counseling or other degree deemed equivalent to those described) from an accredited college and with at least one year or 1500 hours of clinical experience providing direct services to individuals with a diagnosis of mental illness; Knowledge of counseling skills and techniques Knowledge of mental health services and agencies Knowledge of mental health diagnosis Must meet the Virginia Board of Licensing requirements for QMHP-A/C; Must successfully complete CPR, First Aid and behavioral management training Candidate must meet eligibility for employment through successful criminal and central registry check
