Local Bedford Client seeks rock-star Extruder/ Oven Operator!Description:Elwood Staffing has an immediate Extruder- oven operator position open. 1st Shift, 6 AM ? 6 PM with the ability to work the opposite shift if needed5-10 yrs. Rubber, Oven Curing, and Extruding experience (preferred)Pay range is $16 - $22/hr depending on experience.The over mixer operator is responsible for the production of Quality mixes and extruded parts. This includes set up, running and change over between parts, recording measurement data and performing in process inspections. In addition they are responsible for other tasks deemed necessary bu the plant Manager, General Manager or Technical Manager.Qualifications:High school diploma or GED required, Prior experience in the rubber or foam manufacturing industry.Specific job tasks:Read and follow production scheduleReview Mixing ScheduleInform your supervisor of any maintenance issues, safety concerns or material issuesDetermine set up proceduresMeasure and examine extruded partsApplicant may be subject to a background check -A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
