Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Help moving equipment around the shop
Trash collection and cardboard recycling as needed
Vehicle and equipment inspections as assigned
Winter snow removal
Load, unload, store, and distribute company material and equipment
Inspect incoming material for damage
Move material to designated storage area
Insure material is properly and safely stored to prevent waste
Distribute material to appropriate departments
Assist in inventory control
Cleaning up shop and keeping inventory
Operating heavy equipment including cranes, forklifts, and processing machinery
Required Skills and Qualifications
Excellent attendance.
Positive attitude and works in collaboration with other team members to get projects complete.
Attention to detail and quality standards to get it done right the first time.
Possess knowledge of and ability to identify fabrication industry metals and ability to help in metal
fabrication areas as needed
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to work well with team members.
Strong orientation towards quality, safety and continual improvement.
Current Driver's License
Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Knowledge of reading blueprints
Previous forklift experience
Strong communication skills
Proven commitment to safety
Must be 18 years of age or older, with a Driver's license and reliable transportation.
Drug, Alcohol and Tobacco Free Workplace.
