We are looking for a leader with counseling skills to be an integral part of our ComfortCare Women's Health team! The Director of Patient Services is a counseling position that provides direct patient care and support for non-medical, clinic volunteers. This role is designed to effectively implement ComfortCare Women's Health's (CCWH) vision and mission as it relates to our clients, showing them the love of Jesus Christ and presenting practical and educational resources to assist CCWH's clients in their pregnancy decision. This position is also charged with responsibilities related to facilities management and community advancement of the Lexington clinic. The Director of Patient Services is a part-time position, approved for 24 hours per week.

Qualifications:

Be a committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord

Strong commitment and dedication to the sanctity of human life

Have a bachelor's degree related to counseling, education, or healthcare services, or have two years experience with similar responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities:

Patient Care

Provide crisis intervention support for each patient in an atmosphere of warmth and compassion through listening and other helping skills.

Provide accurate information and education on abortion.

Provide accurate information and education on parenting and adoption.

Shift Supervision of Patient Service Volunteers

Maintain and communicate patient services schedule

Provide accountability and supervision during volunteer hours

Ensure proper documentation, policy, and protocol is followed

Patient Services Staff Development

Assist V.P of Patient Services in training recruits

Assist V.P of Patient Services in conducting regular educational opportunities

Assist V.P. of Patient Services with annual evaluations of non-medical, clinic volunteers

Public Relations

Drive outreach opportunities within the Lexington community to promote awareness and understanding of CCWH services and mission

Related tasks

Diligent in prayer before opening the clinic each day and for the ministry at large

Perform tasks as requested by the V.P of Patient Services and the President and CEO

Attend all staff meetings/retreats as an integral part of the CCWH team
