Sr. Pricing and Cost Volume Manager

Job Description

Our client is a high-tech business that provides premium systems, services, and products for the Department of Defense, government agencies and commercial clients. They are a technology leader in numerous areas including technology insertion; acoustic sensors; signal processing; combat systems; torpedoes; cyber security; biometrics; knowledge management; undersea vehicles; open architecture; electromagnetic maneuver warfare; electronics packaging; and image/video processing/analysis.

Duties and Responsibilities

Both produce individually and lead a team to produce compliant pricing and cost volumes efficiently

Interface and coordinate with technical personnel responsible for reliable and compliant estimates

Lead a high-performance pricing team to ensure alignment on cost and price strategies

Complete assignments within extremely tight and strict proposal schedules.

Identify risks and opportunities and as related to price for stakeholders

Understand business environment (such as customer budgets, competitor bidding behaviors, compliance requirements) to make recommendation regarding pricing strategies.

Ensure compliance with all applicable internal and external requirements including estimating system requirements in accordance with DFARS.

Primary coordination for estimating system internal and external audit activities.

Implement checks and reviews to assure compliance and quality of cost volume and pricing work products

Refine estimating and pricing tools and procedures as needed in support of company goals and objectives and regulatory changes

Other duties as assigned
