Experis IT is partnered with the worlds leading provider of secure financial messaging services in their search for a VMware IT Administrator to join their Platform Services team in Manassas, VA. This position requires on-site presence from day one, as well as the ability to support production on-call on a rotational basis - this may require to be on-site during weekend for deployment activities Building VMWare platform and perform infrastructure management activities related to the VMWare builds. Assist with standardization and consolidation of the different environments. Perform supporting activities for Dev, Test and Production systems. This position requires on-site presence from day1. Should be able to support production on-call on a rotational basis. May require to be on-site during weekend for deployment activities.

Responsibilities: You will work with the Product Owner and Squad members to design, develop, test, configure and maintain Unix and Linux systems in line with agreed requirements You will work with your team to implement and operate your solutions You will deploy infrastructure and software according to our change management processes You will collaborate with our internal and external customers following DevOps/Agile principles and best practices You will follow-up and document our services (systems/applications/procedures) as they evolve You will interact and collaborate with other internal teams to ensure excellent customer satisfaction You will develop and maintain technical documentation and prepare and give presentations to customers on systems You will handle issues always focusing on continuous improvement: you will automate, educate and share knowledge transparently

Professional Skills: Professional certification from VMWare (VCP, VCAP, DCV) Autonomous, empowered with the ability to adapt and respond to change Open-minded, solution oriented, and a true team player - gaining energy through collaboration with others Fluent in English (spoken and written) Good communication skills Willing to perform occasional overtime/weekend work At least a Bachelor degree in IT, or equivalent experience 5+ years of experience in a similar position Previous experience in Devops and Agile environment is an asset VROPS (VRA/VRO) knowledge is desirable

Technical Skills: Support and operate vSphere infrastructure 6.x version Experience with HW support tools like HP OneView Development experience on Unix/Linux environment Scripting experience - PowerShell, bash, Perl or python highly desirable (for automation) Experience with methodologies as ITIL Good understanding of networking and storage concepts
