- Effectively communicate with and influence key stakeholders across the enterprise, at all levels of the organization
- Operate as a trusted advisor for a specific technology, platform or capability domain, helping to shape use cases and implementation in an unified manner
- Lead the way in creating next-generation talent for Tech, mentoring internal talent and actively recruiting external talent to bolster Capital One's Tech talent
- Defines the data architecture framework, standards and principles, including modeling, metadata, security, reference data and master data.
- Implements the reference data architecture to enhance their Data Ecosystem for real time, intelligent solutions and helps remove implementation impediments
- Defines data flows, from Producers to Consumers, how data flows are managed, and how data changes in transition and is secured at rest
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 7 years of experience in software or data engineering
- At least 2 years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Modeling, Data Monitoring and Security Controls
- At least 2 years of experience with cloud native development
- 10+ years of experience in data governance, data access, data lineage, data monitoring, and security controls
- 5+ years of experience with architectural patterns, building APIs, data pipelines, microservices, event streams, and high throughput systems
- 5+ years of experience building cloud native architectures, architecting enterprise applications on public cloud platforms and cloud ecosystems
- 2+ years of experience with AWS, EMR, Snowflake, Spark, Flink, EMR, Kafka, Glue
- 2+ years of experience with developing enterprise data models
