Platform Engineer | New York, NY / McLean VA / Richmond VA | 10180What will you do?
- Translate Business Requirements into appropriate build and deployment
- Actively participate in high level team activities such as suggesting architecture improvements, recommending process improvements and conducting tool

- System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains - will be expected to participate in on-call escalations to troubleshoot customer facing
- Total of at least 10 years of experience showing career progression to the Architect level position.
- Strong understanding of Networking Fundamentals - Firewalls, NAT, TCP/IP, DNS, VLAN, CIDR, VPN
- Must have experience with application platform on the cloud such as building, deploying and monitoring microservices deployment, storage infrastructure, API Gateway setup.
- Should have experience in Azure Service Environment and ops - ACS / AKS.
- Knowledge on migrating applications to the Cloud and Designing Cloud Native applications.
- Strong understanding of Cloud concepts – IaaS, PaaS,Saas
- Hands on experience in Azure with key services like VM, VNet, NSG, Load Balancer, Azure AD and Storage Account. Experience with ACS and AKS is desired.
- Hands on with Deployment of Azure resources with Resource Manager (ARM) templates and Azure CLI.
- Experience designing high availability, performant and secure solutions using Azure. Experience with Infrastructure Architecture highly
- Good knowledge on Kubernetes concepts - Secrets, Config Maps, Services etc. Experience in Kubernetes is highly preferred.
