Job Summary/Company:

Sparks Group is seeking a Senior ASP.NET Developer to join our Partner's team and assist in the design and development of a new FinTech data migration tool based on an older legacy application for a private sector client. Responsibilities:

  • Design and architect front-end components of an ASP.NET Core application
  • Develop UI components in ASP.NET Core using a chosen path of MVC or Razor Pages
  • Develop unit tests for ASP.NET Razor Pages or Controllers
  • Engage stakeholders and provide appropriate guidance through the design process
  • Lead/participate in code reviews to provide feedback for proposed solutions

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
  • 4+ years of experience developing UI components in ASP.NET (MVC and/or Razor Pages)
  • Experience deploying and managing infrastructure as code with Azure Resource Manager templates
  • Experience writing automated unit and feature tests for ASP.NET MVC applications using the xUnit framework including conducting root-cause analysis for outages and production issues
  • Experience with Visual Studio or VS Code IDE
  • Ability to work with Git source control and understand SDLC best practices
