- Location: Hybrid - Must be onsite in McLean, VA on Wednesdays and Thursdays
- Extension/Conversion: This is a contract to hire opportunity with conversion potential between 3-12 months.
- Conversion Salary Range: Targeting 105-110K
- Functional testing experience - hands on experience with test automation fundamentals.
- Candidates must have experience with one of the following: Selenium, Protractor, Cyprus.
- Must have experience working in an agile environment.
- Strong preference for DevOps implementation experience.
- Must have experience with AWS - Preference for any cloud certifications - if they have experience devising testing strategies for migrations, it would be a HUGE plus.
- They will be working with existing frameworks for the most part, but they should be able to provide in-depth feedback / guidance towards the enhancement or improvement of those frameworks.
- Strong written and verbal communication is a necessity, since this position does have some technical leadership and collaborative responsibilities.
- If they have any experience in technical leadership, it would be a huge plus.
- 5 to 7 year(s) of experience using Test Management, Defect Tracking, Requirements Management, and Modeling tools, including automated testing tools framework experience.
- BS in Computer Science or Information Technology, or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience from which knowledge and skills may be obtained.
- Strong knowledge of databases (Sybase, DB2 UDB, SQL Server, Oracle etc), SQL, UNIX Shell ScriptingSolid grasp and experience with automation concepts, tools, and techniques.
- Strong Programming skills required (preferably Java/JavaScript/TypeScript) - Solid grasp of object-oriented programming, databases, development, and testing methodologies
- Validated knowledge of industry standard automation test tools like Selenium, Protractor etc.
- Experience with Cucumber (Gherkin) for BDD/collaboration and test automation purposes.
- AWS knowledge required.
- Expertise in working with DevOps implementation.
- Experience with successful Agile/SCRUM team delivering test automation.
