We have an exciting opportunity for a

Business Analyst to join our team in

Mclean, VA. The ideal Business Analyst will have experience in agile development lifecycle, with the ability to gather, analyze, document, and validate the needs of the business stakeholders. Qualified candidates should be able to demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and writing skills. Writing or portfolio samples are often needed to demonstrate these skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Gathers, analyzes, evaluates, documents, and refines requirements for software systems
  • Communicates effectively with business, demonstrates an understanding of their priorities and processes, and leads scaled agile planning for the team
  • Supports team in design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications
  • Persists in solving complex business and technical challenges; troubleshoots issues
  • Collaborates with team members; serves as scrum master and supports team in meeting commitments
  • Documents and presents critical business information; develops reports
  • Achieves quality measures and metrics through agile processes and practices
  • Coordinates requirements, schedules, and activities; contributes to team meetings; support troubleshooting efforts across the ServiceNow platform
  • Communicates with stakeholders (verbally, in writing)
  • Writes and leads team to execute against plans (e.g., governance plan)
  • Provides training in support of citizen development activities

Qualifications:
  • 3 - 5 years of experience working on agile software development or management consulting projects
  • Strong communication and critical thinking skills
  • Experience with customer management and change management
  • Experience with ServiceNow platform
  • U.S. Citizen
  • Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
