We are currently seeking a Configuration Senior Specialist (REMOTE) to join our team in McLean, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

Responsibilities:

The Configuration Senior Specialist provides Information Technology solutions to support the various project and client environments. Utilizes configuration management suites to define, manage, build, release and deploy hardware, software, and patches to endpoints throughout enterprise environments following standard configuration management processes and procedures including:

Architects, designs, and implements configuration management solutions.
Designs develops and manages the deployment of software packaging utilizing current technologies.
Determines to build & release strategy for project/product components.
Performs complex troubleshooting activities.
Manage and evolve the build and deployment platform including source control, build system, artifact repository, container orchestration/scheduling, etc.
Embed with development teams to encourage best practices for continuous delivery and configuration management, providing training in CM tool use and process.
Act as a liaison between the development teams and the operations teams to build continuous integration deployment practices and supporting automation frameworks.
Maintain software CM tools (including open-source tools).
Implement build procedures that are used to support software product development, perform builds on a regular/daily basis with provisions for special build requests.
Support multiple releases and baselines in parallel and troubleshoot issues raised by developers and other CM analysts.
Collect and analyze software build metrics in support of Software Maintenance activities.
Maintain the Discrepancy Report (DR) database.
Provide support required to maintain the asset management database.
Evaluate new upgrades prior to incorporation into development environment and software baseline.
Update software development environment with planned upgrades.
Manage the configuration change conflict resolution process to ensure integrity and quality software configuration items.

Required Qualifications and Skills

6 to 8+ years of experience with configuration management processes and tools.
6+ years of Continuous integration experience
6+ years of experience with CI/CD tools
3+ years experience with DevSecOps
6+ years' experience with Open-Source tools including Jenkins, GIT and Selenium,

Highly Desirable Skills:

Intimate knowledge and experience with Open-Source tools including Gradle, Chef and Nexus.
Experience with deploying infrastructure as code.
Experience with ServiceNow (CMDB).
Jenkins Certification.
Linux Certification.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education / Certification:

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Management, or related field

In compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rules, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position who works in Colorado is $103,000 - $133, 000. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on a number of factors, including work location, relevant experience (internal or external), technical skills, and other qualifications. The candidate may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on personal and/or company performance. This position is eligible for company benefits including but not limited to medical, dental, and vision coverage with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D, short and long term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and many other additional voluntary benefits.
