Our client, a bank holding company, is seeking a Data Analyst - Sr
Location: McLean, VA Position Type: Contract Responsibilities:- Managing and improving all data processes and products within i2i. This includes:
- Processes to identify customers and trigger survey sends
- Processes to classify, and selectively escalate survey responses using text analytics
- Data marts to make analysis of survey results simple & intuitive
- Data marts to identify Primary Banking Relationships as well as demographic groups based on income and age
- Consulting on intent and data structure for new CEMP surveys
- Supporting Market Insights, benchmarking, and other initiatives with ad-hoc data pulls and analysis
- Comfort with SQL, Python, and simple Shell scripting
- Strong judgement and integrity. Customer data is highly sensitive and being well-managed is of top importance - we must always remember that these are real people
- Excellent problem solving & troubleshooting skills - ability to identify root causes of issues and respond accordingly
- Excellent teamwork & communication - ability to explain and discuss technical issues with teammates and partners in less technical job families
- Proactivity & ownership in enhancing and expanding our suite of data processes and products
- Willingness to learn & implement new technologies & approaches, such as machine-learning text analytics / natural language processing
- Passion for improving customer experience
- Prior client experience is preferred.
