RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Architect, Mid in McLean, VA.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field 3+ years of experience building or maintaining software systems, including software engineering, API development, data pipeline development, or data infrastructure management 3+ years of experience using standard data formats, such as XML, XML Schema, JSON, or CSV 2+ years of experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, R, JavaScript, SQL, Scala, or Bash 1+ years of experience participating in an agile DevOps build and release environment 1+ years of experience with cloud service providers including AWS, Azure, or GCP Experience building back-end data management systems or data pipelines Experience with data manipulation tools, such as awk/sed or pandas Experience with creating verbal and written communication products for clients, including presentations and whitepapers Experience in software design or data management patterns and principles Experience with distributed storage technologies including Apache/Cloudera Hadoop, MongoDB, or public cloud services such as AWS S3, or Azure Blob Experience managing or integrating with SQL databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or public cloud services such as AWS RDS or Azure Database Experience with data pipeline and ETL technologies including Apache NiFi, StreamSets, or AWS Glue Experience with Agile software development Knowledge of data service and deployment frameworks including Spring, Docker, and Kubernetes Knowledge of distributed data processing tools including Apache Kafka, Spark, or Databricks Knowledge of data warehousing tools including Apache Hive, cloud services including AWS Redshift, or cloud platforms including Snowflake Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified informationThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs.
