RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in McLean, VA that is seeking a Data Engineer, Mid.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree Master's degree in Mathematics Cloud Development Certification, including AWS Solutions Architect or Azure Certification Information Security Certification, including Security+ or CISSP Certification 1+ years of experience writing software in programming languages, including Python 1+ years of experience with source control and collaboration software, including Git or Atlassian tools 1+ years of experience with ETL operations, including on-premises or cloud infrastructure Experience deploying analytics workloads on platform as a service (PaaS) and software as a service (SaaS), including AWS EMR, Redshift, SageMaker, Azure Databricks, SQL Data Warehouse, or Machine Learning service Experience with distributed or parallel programming frameworks, including Apache Spark or NVIDIA CUDA Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) frameworks and services, including Terraform or CloudFormation Experience developing and presenting complex technical information for both technical and non-technical audiences and senior leaders Experience developing and deploying large-scale batch and stream analytics pipelines Experience working with integrated groups comprised of customer success managers, infrastructure engineers, data scientists, and software engineers Knowledge of relational and non-relational database technologies, including SQL or GraphQL Knowledge of automation and scripting on Linux or Windows operating systems Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified informationThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role.
