Detailed Job Description:
  • SRE to plan, design, implement, test, deliver, scale and maintain a DevOps toolchain within the AWS infrastructure (running on kubernetes).
  • Design, build scale and support a highly reliable and scalable platform Atlassian suite + Jenkins running on Kubernetes.
  • Setting up and responding to infrastructure / tooling monitoring alerts
  • Convert design requirements into a technical implementation plan.
  • Automate building systems and solutions in Cloud environment (AWS preferred) and on-premises (Linux environment)
  • Build, extend and troubleshoot Continuous Integration/Continuous deployment pipelines for applications.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, provide efficient long term solutions including performance tuning and monitoring improvements Participate in an on-call support rotation
  • Infrastructure and DevOps Tooling platform availability management
  • Designing Automation for DevOps tooling platform management
  • Resolving DevOps Platform issues and escalations
  • 10 + years of relevant professional experience
  • A bachelor's degree in relevant discipline or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated scripting experience using Python, Bash or something similar
  • Ansible and Git
  • Jenkins, Artifactory/Repos, Atlassian Suite, Docker and Kubernetes operations
  • Public cloud (AWS) build and deployment using CloudFormation
  • Application monitoring, system & app logging tools
  • Working knowledge of CI /CD development practices and concepts and how they are implemented in automation and tooling

  • Ability to explain protocol and processes with team and management
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills with the ability to spot issues before they become problems
