Center 2 (19050), United States of America, McLean, VirginiaPrincipal Associate, Communications and Program ManagementAs a Communications Associate, you will work closely with leaders and teams across EDRM to understand our data management policies, requirements, tooling, and stakeholders to develop and execute change management communication plans. You will also support internal team and governance operations to establish the mechanisms and channels to support the flow of information across functional areas.General Responsibilities:
Responsible for communications and change management with broader data management stakeholders across the enterprise
Define the change management strategy to best drive change across EDRM owned initiatives as they impact our partners and stakeholders
Partner with initiative leads, project owners, and accountable executives to understand their work, the changes they plan on introducing, as well as stakeholder needs.
Support the development and implementation of strategies to increase the flow of information and collaboration across EDRM
Play an active role in establishing and maintaining EDRM’s aligned messaging with key partners such as Enterprise Data and their tech partners
Drive DDRO engagement through events such as the DDRO summit, campaigns, and surveys
Serve as the voice of EDRM providing our partners with critical information on data management, policy, and tooling
Manage the Risk Management Executive Reporting processes (IRMR, help with board reporting cycle etc…)
Support external operational reporting (OKR and KPI reporting)
Support the development and rollout of EDRM’s strategy and materials
Develop and maintain EDRM’s externally facing training materials and partner with the CEDA (Certified Enterprise Data Associate) team to ensure those materials are aligned with that training program
Participate in the planning and execution of enterprise-wide data events
Develop & report metrics and readership of EDRM comms and drive continuous improvement to drive up engagement, readership and satisfaction
Additionally, the candidate will be able to:
Demonstrate previous experience working on data related projects or knowledge of key data management principles
Demonstrate outstanding written and verbal communication, organization and partnership skills that are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders across all levels
Communicate and influence clearly and to interact effectively at all levels of the organization
Set direction, manage expectations, and lead cross-functional teams
Demonstrate agility and flexibility to adapt to changing demands
Exhibit a proven track record of project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage the work
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience
At least 4 years experience in the field of program management, or internal communications or external communications, or change management, or data management or a combination
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree
Functional knowledge of Jira
At least one year of experience working in an Agile environment
At least 5 years experience in the field of program management, or internal communications or external communications, or change management, or data management or a combination
Prosci certification PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
