SAS Tester with experience in the IT Industry. This is Contract opportunity with long-term potential and located in McLean, VA. Please review the job description below. Job ID: Job Duties: Title: SAS Tester Location: McLean, VA Duration: Contract Job ResponsibilitiesPosition Overview- Needs to be mix combo of Business and IT.
- To be able to review of requirements from testing prospective (12+ years) in different testing scenarios (focused on backend testing based on ETL)
- Should be able to capture, test and document the requirements.
- Will be coordinating with Data Engineering team
- JIRA boards for maintaining user stories.
- Production support
- Background in Big data – Hadoop, PySpark, python, SAS and other related skills
- Experience in Hive/Vertica or Snowflake (Snowflake is highly preferred as they are currently using it).
- Someone familiar with Financial services- Mortgage/Banking (Freddie / Fannie is a big plus)
- Testing tools- inhouse developed tools ( build on Excel based and SAS).
