Job Role - Automation Engineer / SDET – Java, Selenium, API

Job Description:

• Primary skill : Development and Automation Quality engineering Experience, Java, Selenium, TestNG, BDD, Cucumber, API automation, GIT, Jenkins, Maven/Gradle Agile/Scrum• 6-10+ yrs Experience in developing the Automation Framework using Selenium, Java, Cucumber BDD Framework, Eclipse IDE, Maven and TestNG.• Experience in developing Features, Scenarios, Step Definitions using Gherkin and Java and Used Page Object Model and JUnit as Test Runner for both web and mobile applications• Conducting API automation Testing using Selenium, cucumber with REST Assured library, Postman/Soap UI to create collections of integration tests and to ensure APIs working as expected and data flowing properly between the systems.• Demonstrated experience in writing clean code quickly, algorithm design, problem solving, complexity analysis, object-oriented design and coding skills.• Integration of automated functional and performance automated test script execution with DevSecOps CI/CD pipeline, with distributed (multi-tiered) systems, and relational databases.• Enabling Jackson library(Object Mapper) used for dynamic creation of JSON Request for testing and to validate the nested JSON response• Involve in Test Data preparations and identifying the test scenarios to be automated. Preparing MISMO XML file for single and batch loan applications for different types of loans.• Handling complex calculations and Data base validations using Java, SQL• Conducting Insprint automation and meeting deliverables following the agile SCRUM methodology.• Developing the test plan and test cases for the positive and negative scenarios keeping in mind the Boundary Value Limitations and Equivalence Classes coordinating with the customers upon solid analysis of the user stories.
