Full stack Developer (backend focused)

Location: McLean, VA/ Remote

Duration: 6 months with possible extension

NOTE- Only 10 + years of experienced candidates

Description:- Client is looking for Full Stack Software engineer with experience in development of Spring Boot Microservices and Angular Single Page web applications.

Responsibilities:- Develop APIs by following Microservices best practices using Spring Boot and Java- Develop Angular Single Page Web Applications- Support maintenance and enhancements of the existing APIs and Microservices- Develop standards and guidelines for developers- Train developers on the best practices of developing Microservices and Angular applications

Required Skills:- Hands on experience with development of Spring Boot and Angular- Hands on experience in writing scripts using Java Script, bash, etc- Hands on experience with Maven, Gradle, Node, Npm, etc- Hands on experience with writing automated unit and integration tests- Hands on experience with Git, Artifactory or similar Maven repos, Jira, etc- Hands on experience with Java- Hands on experience with Docker and Kubernetes- Experience in working as part of Agile teams

Preferred Skills:- Familiarity with DevOps practices- Familiarity with Continuous integration and continuous deployment- Ability to develop or configure reverse proxies using Apigee- Understanding of certificate based authentication and basic HTTP authentication mechanism

Technical Must Haves:

- Typical full stack, but focus on backend/web development- Spring boot, Angular 7/8 and Microservices experience - 5+ years- Excellent communication, someone who is a good compromiser and who excels in collaborative environments.- Someone mild-mannered would be a good fit for this team -probably not the best fit for someone who is strongly opinionated.
