Eliassen Group is looking for a well-tenured Senior Python Application Engineer to help support a critical project for a government integrator. Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.Responsibilities of the Senior Python Application Engineer:- Design and implement frontend user interfaces in modern programming language to best suit users' needs and create integrated functionality to a backend structure
- Configure software products and systems to deploy code
- Develop product and platform prototypes
- Keep track of software application performance
- Develop technical and business requirements and always strive to deliver intuitive and user-centered solutions
- Test new ideas before implementing
- Perform static and dynamic scans and address critical vulnerabilities
- Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience working in UI Development
- Experience with Angular, React, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and Agile methodologies
- Prior experience with Python, Django, Flask, Postgres database, Graph QL
- Proven experience with Elastic search and caching frameworks
- Experience working with AWS service stack
- Agile development experience and the integration of various components
- Familiarity of human centered design approach and process
