Immediate need for a talented
Senior Solution Architect with experience in the Mortgage Industry. This is 6+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and it is located in McLean, VA. Please review the job description below. Job ID: 21-58738Technical Must Haves:- Must have hands on architecture experience.
- Need to have familiarity with AWS and cloud migrations. An ideal candidate would have a wholistic approach to architecture and the ability to define and work with all aspects of architecture.
- Should have a background in Java Development background.
- Must Have Technologies: Rest APIs, MongoDB or Postgres, Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, S3.
- Seasoned professional with ability to make architecture and design decisions and tradeoffs for solution architecture that looks across the applications landscape and adheres to enterprise standards. Prior Solution architecture experience is desired.
- 2+ years of AWS Cloud experience of architecture solution with AWS services EC2, S3, EKS, OpenShift, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, CFT, etc.,
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in solution, application, architecture applied to multiple large-scale enterprise systems. 8+ years of hand-on experience in the programming language with two or more of the following Angular, Java, C, various scripts Python, R.
- 2+ years of large-scale of AWS Cloud migration hands on experience with multiple technology areas like API, Microservices, Event Streaming, Logging & Monitoring, Databases (SQL, NOSQL), Containers, Serverless Frameworks, AI & Client etc.).
- Knowledge and understanding of application security, mobile, databases, enterprise data solutions
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- Hands on experience with latest cloud-based AWS technology and familiarity with latest industry trends and mobile technology.
- Technical and Architectural leadership with knowledge of both legacy and modern cloud based distributed systems
- Strong judgement with excellent decision-making skills and excellent analytical skills, ability to deal with ambiguity and lead technical solutions.
- Ability to lead, collaborate and influence issue resolution across various groups in the organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to succinctly present subject matter. Ability to communicate effectively technology problems/solutions to business partners and senior leadership and translate high level directives into technical approaches consumed by technical groups
- Highly motivated and upbeat self-starter with proven organizational and time management skills; demonstrable experience operating at high standards of quality and accuracy within a fast-paced changing environment
