We build new capabilities while transforming the backend services that power the digital welcome experience for the Mobile and Web clients during the first 30 days of a new customer support. We are passionate about all things technology be it GoLang or Serverless infrastructure and love to streamline processes, reduce maintenance by automating our release pipelines and strive to have detailed monitoring of our applications. You will get opportunities to work with the latest and greatest of technologies while building amazing customer experiences. What You'll Do:- Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in backend development tools and technologies
- Work with a team of developers with deep experience, distributed microservices, and full stack systems
- Collaborate with digital product managers, and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences to help millions of Americans achieve financial empowerment
- Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, and participating in internal & external technology communities.
- Utilize programming languages like Java and Go, Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of AWS tools and services like ECS, EC2, Lambda functions, Redis Cache, DDB, SNS, ALB, AWS Fargate and monitoring tools like Splunk, New Relic and alerting systems like PagerDuty
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 2 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience does not apply)
- 3+ years of experience in at least one of the following: Java or Golang
- 1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service
- 1+ years of experience with at least one of these monitoring technologies: ELK, Splunk, Datadog, or New Relic
- 2+ years of experience in Agile practices
- 2+ years of experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- 2+ years of experience in open source frameworks
