- Deliver solutions on-time with high bar of quality, and continuously improve systems
- Demonstrate effective and disciplined software development expertise and leadership
- Work with Product Owners to understand the desired capability, to define and prioritize work, determine deliverables, and manage workloads
- Deliver and maintain standard operating procedures and assist in troubleshooting issues
- Participate in on-call activities as needed for major incident resolution and problem management
- Deliver and maintain health and hygiene of stack by conducting periodic elastic improvements, AMI upgrades, and elastic version upgrades.
- Experience in Elasticsearch, logstash and kibana in enterprise environment
- Experience working with the following Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud services: EC2, EKS, Cloud Formation, Cloud watch, Lambda
- Experience using Python and configuration management tools such as Ansible
- Experience in enabling APM on microservices and managing APM ingestion
- Experience in enabling and managing client ingestion using filebeat, metricbeat
- Experience in kibana visualizations and dashboarding
- Experience in Elasticsearch Machine Learning, Prometheus and other monitoring tools a plus.
- Experience of addressing compliance and governance in a regulatory environment
- Documentation of engineering solutions and operational procedures
- Occasional on-call support - no rotation, just as needed.

- Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies, and identify process improvements and efficiencies opportunities
