Apex Systems is looking for a candidate with a strong background in supplier risk management to help enhance and mature current supplier risk program within a department for one of our fortune 500 clients. This opening has the potential to be converted to a full time FTE position. The ideal candidate will possess the following traits: Previous experience or educational background in supplier risk management within an organization, with an understanding of how the function fits into the overall end to end source-to-pay process Understanding of inherent risk, residual risk, and related risk determination methodologies Understanding of key risk factors within some or all of our primary supplier risk domains, including: o Information Security Risk o Technology Risk o Operational Risk o People Risk o Third Party Risk o Legal Risk o Financial Risk o Regulatory Risk Thoughtful problem solver with a knack for discovering opportunities for increased efficiencies Strong and proactive communicator, with the ability to simplify complex subject matter and convey it clearly and succinctly Strong Excel skills with the ability to conduct basic data analysis utilizing pivot tables and common formulas (e.g., Vlookups, IF statements) Knowledge and/or prior experience using Process Unity risk management software is a plus
