Title: JavaScript / TypeScript Developer Location: Mclean VA Pay Rate: $60/hr Contract: 6 months Summary: JavaScript / TypeScript developer with experience in a Agile React web development team. This team member represents the technical expertise necessary to develop front-end assets for websites according to standard practices of development, code structure, application performance capabilities, re-use of code logic, unit tests and maintainability. Qualifications and Skills: • Minimum of 5 years experience in JavaScript and TypeScript. • Experience supporting sites on different browsers, operating systems, and devices • Advanced knowledge in React-based patterns • Knowledge of Next.js React framework • Experience in Agile Kanban and Scrum development frameworks. • Experience establishing repeatable code practices and standards. • Experience facilitating technical decisions & discussions with other developers. • Experience with Test-Driven Development using Cucumber or equivalent frameworks. • Experience implementing mock interfaces for testing. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Strong referenced experience with technical teams and projects in both new development and maintenance.
