Business Support AnalystMerrifield, VA 22082Contract to HireRate: Open Our client is looking to add a Business Support Analyst to their team in Merrifield, VA. This is a contract to hire role paying an hourly rate dependent on experience. This role will allow for a hybrid work week, after an initial orientation period, of 3 days onsite, 2 days remote. Due to the required clearance with our government client, only US Citizens, Green Card and Green Card EAD holders may be considered. Clearance requires that the candidates have resided in the US for the past five years. The selected candidate cannot have left the country for longer than 90 consecutive days and no more than 180 cumulative days.

Job Description:Our client is currently seeking a Business Support Analyst to work out of their Merrifield, VA office. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, an effective writer and looking to learn about our client's programs supporting the Engineering group.

Roles and Responsibilities:• Serve as the budget coordinator for the Automation Equipment group supporting Technology Acquisition & Program Management group. General responsibilities include tracking funding, generating reports and reviewing and processing purchase requests against funding allocations.• Documentation specialist with ability to proofread disparate documents and them distill them down into coherent communications to management, program teams and other USPS field personnel.• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:• Bachelor’s Degree or 3 years of applicable professional service or a combination of education and experience• Ability to track funding, generate reports, and review purchase requests against available funding.• Ability to develop and maintain communication processes that provide management, staff, and customers the business and technology solution goals and benefits.• Ability to communication both verbally and orally with program team regarding work responsibilities.• Ability to monitor, evaluate, and report on project status, costs, and performance when compared to plan and recommends changes to management.

Security Requirements• Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information• Must be able to obtain and keep a Sensitive Clearance• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder and have been living in the U.S. for at least the last five years• Must not have traveled outside of the United States for more than 180 days in the last five years• All candidates will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and drug screening per our client's requirements.
