This position will pay an hourly rate of $50/HR to $55/HR W2 + AWESOME benefits OR $55/HR to $60/HR 1099/C2C. We can also pay an annual salary of $100K W2 for the contract period. This position will then convert at an annual salary of $100K to $102K plus benefits. Due to the required clearance with our government client, only US Citizens, Green Card and Green Card EAD holders may be considered. Clearance requires that the candidates have resided in the US for the past five years. The selected candidate cannot have left the country for longer than 90 consecutive days and no more than 180 cumulative days. We are currently seeking a Technical Systems Analyst to work out of our clients Merrifield, VA office in support of their federal client. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and making recommendations on current and proposed systems and architecting cost-effective solutions to ensure systems developed make the most of resources and technology available in meeting business requirements.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provides minimally supervised support for difficult analysis and evaluation assignments.
  • Analyzes and evaluates complex data processing systems, both current and proposed, translating business area customer information system requirements into detailed system/program requirements.
  • Performs, and/or may direct, project planning, scope, control, management, tracking, or review.
  • Performs analysis and evaluation throughout the process, application, system, or software development life-cycle which includes, but is not limited to: planning, requirements, design, acquisition,
  • development, integration, and installation/deployment, performance tuning, testing, or training.
  • Performs, or may direct, document development/preparation at various stages of a project life-cycle (e.g., planning through implementation) to detail analysis results and solution recommendations.
  • Facilitates meetings with vendors, stakeholders, and other technical staff.
  • Serves as a liaison between functional and technical specialists. Assists with testing to support the project life-cycle, as applicable.
  • Uses methodologies, modeling/estimating techniques, tools, applications, systems, software, or databases at advanced levels to perform assigned tasks.
  • Ensures compliance with, and/or may develop, the standards and organization requirements relative to specific assignments.

Qualifications and Experience:

Required-
  • Bachelor’s Degree or 8 years of professional service or a combination of education and experience
  • Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Hardware and networking experience
  • Experience with Docker and containerization platforms
  • High level knowledge of machine learning and AI
  • Requirements analysis and management
  • Image annotation experience (e.g. CVAT – web based image annotation tool)
  • High level knowledge of image processing
  • Ability to gain an understanding of complex enterprise systems
  • Skilled in the review and/or creation of technical documents such as manuals, test plans, software requirements specifications, software design, interface design, etc.
  • An understand in how to perform and evaluate Data Analysis of software
  • Skilled in the testing of software and hardware for enterprise systems and/or automation
  • Demonstrated ability to define information system solutions in comprehensive, quantitative and qualitative terms to facilitate comparative analysis of alternative system solutions.
  • Must be able to communicate technical information to others, expressing facts or ideas clearly, orally or in writing, when answering questions, giving directions, and providing information, individually or in groups.

Security Requirements
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
  • Must be able to obtain and keep a Sensitive Clearance
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder and have been living in the U.S. for at least the last five years
  • Must not have traveled outside of the United States for more than 180 days in the last five years
